How to conduct and incorporate research in your speech. Importance of appropriate language. Use of humor, props and slides to aid a speech. Preparing mentally to deliver a speech and avoid stage fright. Development of impromptu speaking. Effective delivery using vocal projection, posture, eye contact and appearance. Debate activity to develop critical thinking, analysis, logic, case construction, persuasive delivery and teamwork.
