| Description: | Grammar/Language Usage Students will learn Parts of Speech and the Use of: Adjectives, Adverbs, Alphabetical Order, Antonyms, Commas—Dates, Addresses, Letters, Series, Common/Proper Nouns, Complete/Simple Subjects, Compound Sentence, Compound Words Contractions, Dialogue/Quotation, Homonyms, Noun Markers, Plural Nouns—Regular/Irregular, Prefixes & Suffixes, Pronouns/Possessive Pronouns, Subjects & Predicates, Synonyms, Their/There/They’re, Verbs—Present, Past, Future, Types of Sentences—Declarative, Interrogative, Imperative, Exclamatory.Writing Students will write the following pieces: Retelling, Personal Narrative, Persuasive, Literary Essay, and Constructed Response.
